The more that I work and blog, the more that I’m becoming convinced that persistence is the only thing that matters.
Certainly, good content is better than bad content – but when you realize that nobody really knows what they’re doing, the most important part is just doing.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be involved with quite a few unique opportunities at once – audiocoders, WAAPI, even just being a huge fanboy of @audiomentoring. Even just this weekend I’ve had multiple people asking for my input and advice on their personal projects.
To say that it’s humbling to be involved with so much and given many opportunities to help people and connect people – is very much an understatement.
None of these opportunities happen without putting in the work. The work meaning creating content and aiding others so that people know who you are, like you, and trust you. Then the walls of others come down as they allow you, or even ask you, to speak into what they’re doing. That’s a privilege to be thankful for.
So as I’ve said to audiocoders, Twitter, and even my wife this weekend – thank you so much for your time and attention. I really appreciate you letting me be a part of your life. I hope to continue to aid and help add good things.
